Hello Tomb Raider fans!
This is my last site update for 2018! I will be back with a ton more updates in the New Year 2019! Time certainly flies when you are having fun. Literally having a blast. Oh, and if I have left anything out, I do apologize.
The Tomb Raider franchise has a great deal to celebrate over this jam-packed year, and I do, too!
Let’s start with March 2018 when the critically acclaimed “Tomb Raider Movie” starring Alicia Vikander and directed by Roar Uthaug premiered. Also see Tomb Raider Training & Tomb Raider Movie Gallery I was in Cozumel, Mexico when I got the news that we as Official admin were going to receive a special gift from Warner Bros. It was a beautiful journal that Lara uses in the film with her father’s initials embossed onto the cover. It has become quite the conversation piece. This also included a special message from Alicia herself. I was on an adventure with my family and then this bonus came along and made it even better. Of course, I did not know at the time that Shadow of the Tomb Raider would begin in Cozumel, Mexico! What a fun coincidence.
2018 also marked the year of the Shadow … or Shadow of the Tomb Raider. All us fans waited patiently for the trailer drop before the game launch in September. The trailer came in April and was a highlight before the launch. You can find details about the trailer HERE

Building up to everything we also were treated to some amazing game clues each week. There was a great clue about the constellation Orion Found HERE They packaged these weekly clues as “Path of the Stars”, which you will find in the real game. Then a gratifying thing happened. After I won this fantastic game, I watched the credits roll by and saw my site was named among my fellow Official admins sites in the credits! Here is a screenshot from the credits of my site in the credits! My site also appears in the end credits for Rise of the Tomb Raider as well.

Of course, an event that I always dreamed about attending led up to the launch of Shadow. That was the fabulous E3! Here are my game impressions of SOTTR after I returned from E3! Also, some photos I thought I would share from that amazingly awesome experience. I was one of the sponsored ambassadors at E3 for Tomb Raider. I was honored to be able to participate in this lovely event. The best part was making great friends and meeting so many people from Crystal Dynamics and SE at E3. Also, meeting Earl Baylon, Camilla and Meagan and Morrigan along with so many others my head is spinning was the best time ever. We had so many great times even a party at the end together. What a blast! It has made me adore Tomb Raider and the fine people that make it all possible even more. Enjoy the photos I have a ton more. I just added a few. Place your cursor over each picture to read the captions then click in and out of each to learn about the photos.

Now on to more Tomb Raider.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider was nominated by the Annie Awards for an Outstanding Achievement for Character Animation in a Video Game!

I highly recommend the read. It is well written and delves into the subject in a way that will grab you to know more until you have read from cover to cover.
Now we get to more wonderful news. As many know there is a new project underway for the Angel of Darkness soundtrack and others called “The Dark Angel” As it says on their site “Help us bring remastered #TombRaider soundtracks and brand new rearranged music to life!”. You can find out more here. They started a kickstarter to raise money for the fabulous music composed by the original composer, Peter Connelly. Mr. Connelly along with Team manager Ash Kaprielov, and a host of other talented people to make up the crew are working hard together to bring this project into reality.
I must say that I am pleased to be a supporter of this fantastic project!
So with this, I will close and say have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!
